Are Hydroponics safe ? ?

Vegetables grown without sunlight but instead using a light bulb sounds iffy. I know they would be organic bcuz no pesticides would be needed. But is it safe to eat veggies grown by light bulb ?

Hydroponics are not usually organic because most places use chemical fertilizers in the nutrient slurry.

The lights used in hydroponic houses is just a supplement to natural light which is what is the light source during daylight hours. They use as full a spectrum of light as they can.

Organics is a lot more than simply not using pesticides (FYI pesticides are allowed on certified organic farms as long as they are plant based)
